Iggy will be in my mentor's favourite city Dublin on November 11th. He will be a part of the European MTV music awards. The guitarist/keyboard player in Death in Vegas, Sheamus Beghan, was once a member of Madness and played with Iggy on the Blah Blah Blah tour as well as the Instinct tour and album. Tom Jones and Chrissy Hynde are doing a cover of "Lust for Life" on Tom's new album. Iggy originally asked Hynde to sing Candy, but she turned him down.

Scott Asheton (Stooges, Sonic's Rendezvous, Pure Filth) played The Magestic Theater in Detroit Sept. 11th with Scott Morgan (Sonic's Rendezvous, Rationals), Deniz Tek (Radio Birdman), and Gary Rassmussen. I was there, Rockaction, Rockaction! Wayne Kramer (MC5) played the night before--what a weekend! Word is that Scott A. may have recorded with The Hellacopters, who played Windsor, Canada the same week. HINRG rock'n'roll lives!
