I may have news on Iggy in Paris soon ( thanks, love). 2000

synonymous with British pop culture since the Mods adapted the workers boot
in the 60s. Dr. Martens launched with their original 8 hole boot on the 1st

that has been adopted by bands such as The Who, Sex Pistols, The Clash, Madness,
Elastica, Travis etc. Seminal British rock acts that have defined so many
British subcultures. To celebrate Dr. Martens 40th Anniversary, Virgin Records
in association with Dr. Martens is releasing a fantastic 2 x CD boxset. Cherry
red, leather bound with Airwair tag, the boxset features 40 tracks from 40
artists who have helped brand Dr. Martens as one of the world's coolest and

Homer finishes LP: David Holmes has finished his new
album, ‘Bow Down To The Exit Sign’. Final additions to the record included
a remix of the track, ‘Sick City’ by Skylab. This track, featuring Bobby Gillespie
from Primal Scream was recorded before Christmas and was a shameless homage
to Iggy Pop and The Stooges. Apparenty, the tune has since been radically
altered. Another late development was the appearance of Martine, who has worked
with Tricky in the past.

1-25-2000:
Got some info on the making of the Corruption video from the father (who just
saw the video for the first time on my site) of the two little boys in it,
Justin and Shane. The video was shot on Sep 4, 1999 in Miami Shores, Florida
at an older man's home, basically they emptied it and trashed it to make it
look bad -- it was actually a nice neighborhood. The director, Jonas Akerlund,
was a very quiet, nice person, so was the producer Nicola Doring. At the end
of the shoot they got to meet Iggy, "a super nice man," who thanked the kids
for being in the video and talked about various things like touring and so
on. Found live audio of the July 1999 Hippodrome Aids benefit show in Paris,
"Dog" and "Sixteen". Also added 2 new video interviews, about 20
mins worth of interviews with snippets of perfomances as well. See the MCM
links.
